Daytona Beach, FL/ February 4, 2008 - Former Rick Hendrick NASCAR driver, Blake Feese (25) will be behind the wheel of the #8 FPC/DeMolay/NCompass Baker-Curb Ford for this Saturday's Daytona opening ARCA race on February 9th, aired Live on Speed TV at 4:00PM ESDT.
Feese has nine ARCA starts that resulted in 2 wins, 4 top 5 and 3 top 10 finishes. He is also a former World of Outlaw's winner and multiple NASCAR Busch series starter.
The Baker-Curb team he is driving for is owned by Gary Baker & Mike Curb, who ran Dale Earnhardt, Sr. to his first ever NASCAR Cup Championship. Gary is a successful team owner and businessman in Nashville. Mike Curb is a Country Music legend and the ex Governor of California. Curb is also known as one the most successful entrepreneurs in the history of country music and his front running Curb Records is a county music label that has produced countless number one hits for artists such as Tim McGraw, LeAnn Rimes, Hank Williams, Jr. and Jo Dee Messina. As a team owner and sponsor, Mike has entered cars in over two dozen Indy 500's and virtually every major racing series in North America. The car's crew chief will be ARCA veteran, Ronnie Smith.
